Outreach to men begins at the Transient Lodge. We provide emergency services like food, temporary shelter and clothing to more than 2,000 men annually.
Chapel services are conducted each evening. These services are primarily conducted by volunteers.
If you are interested in performing devotionals, bible studies or sermons please call 501-374-1108.
This program is designed to help men who need help regaining their independence. These men work at their own jobs, pay a small rent, save 75% of their income and to set specific financial goals to reach.
We provide breakfast, a sack lunch to take to work and dinner at no charge. In addition to offering warm meals and comfortable beds, we offer laundry service, bathroom/shower facilities and personal hygiene products free of charge.
Helping individuals develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the foundation of our work at the Union Rescue Mission and men in our work program are encouraged to develop such an important relationship through chapel services and a Christian atmosphere. |
